Psychiatrist consultation

  • An individual consultation with a medical doctor-psychiatrist, during which the patient's mental difficulties are heard, the circumstances of their occurrence, course, duration, and a diagnosis is made.
  • The most appropriate treatment plan is then developed, including psychotherapeutic and/or pharmacological treatment.
  • The first consultation with a psychiatrist lasts 1 hour, and the repeat consultation lasts 30 minutes.
  • Visits to a psychiatrist are recorded in the e-health system.

Psychiatrist services are not provided without disclosing a person's identity (anonymous consultations).

Psychological counseling, psychotherapy

  • Psychological counseling is intended for people who want to overcome difficulties and seek answers to current issues.
  • Consultations will be useful in solving various problems: experiencing fear, anxiety, anger and not knowing how to deal with them; if you have difficulties in building interpersonal relationships; when you want to strengthen your emotional well-being, etc.
  • The consultation can be a one-time or ongoing one, depending on the client's needs and the complexity of the problem.

 

  • Psychotherapy involves regular meetings with a therapist during which personal problems are analyzed and progress is made.
  • The therapist may use a variety of methods: cognitive behavioral therapy or psychoanalysis, to help the client understand and change negative patterns of thinking and behavior.
  • Psychotherapy is an effective treatment for various mental disorders (such as depression, anxiety, schizophrenic disorders).

Psychiatrist consultation

An individual consultation with a medical doctor - psychiatrist, during which the mental state is assessed and the most appropriate treatment plan is drawn up, including psychotherapeutic and/or pharmacological treatment.

 

If necessary, the psychiatrist may refer to other specialists (psychologists, social workers, family doctors).

Couples/family counseling

A specialist consultation that delves into the relationship between two people, understanding each other's feelings and needs, and analyzing problems arising in the relationship.

Consultation may be useful if:

  • There is often tension in relationships and conflicts arise;
  • difficulty communicating with a partner, solving problems;
  • the relationship is not what you would like;
  • one of the partners has problems (addiction, mental disorder, etc.);
  • You are considering divorce.

Consultation duration: 75 min.

Group counseling

  • A psychotherapy service led by a psychologist or psychotherapist, which can accommodate up to 10 people.
  • A group is like a miniature society, a safe space where you can observe and openly explore your reactions and feelings, raise relevant questions and to receive feedback and support from other group participants.
  • Group psychological support allows you to experience a sense of community, not feel alone, and learn to build relationships.

Child counseling

  • To register a child for psychological counseling, the first consultation is provided to the parents.
  • The duration of the initial consultation for parents is 1.5 hours.
  • During the initial consultation, current challenges, the child's developmental history, parents' expectations, and options for help are discussed.
  • The duration of an individual consultation for children is 1 academic hour.
  • When counseling a child, parents are also periodically consulted.

Adolescent counseling

  • This is an individual conversation with a psychologist and psychotherapist, which can be either a one-time or long-term one. During the conversation, the difficulties, challenges, and feelings of the teenager are discussed.
  • A teenager is usually considered a person from the age of 12. During the first meeting, an initial consultation takes place, which lasts 1.5 hours.
  • In the initial consultation, the teenager can participate with their parents (joint interview) or alone (individual interview).  
  • If consultations continue, their duration is 1 academic hour.
  • If the adolescent or parents express a desire, joint consultations may be held, but this is not necessary.

Psychodiagnostics

  • This is a psychological test that includes an assessment of three main areas: cognitive functions (attention, memory, thinking), emotional spectrum (emerging feelings, their perception, regulation, impulse control) and personalities (ways of reaction, their adequacy to the situation; relationship, identity or other personal difficulties).
  • The study can be used to assess the psychological picture of adolescents and/or children.
  • The study is conducted using a psychodiagnostic interview and other science-based methods. The study of one of the three areas takes about 1 hour.
  • This service is provided solely to clarify a diagnosis or learn more about yourself, but does not meet the requirements or purposes of legal/judicial procedures.
