WE INVITE YOU TO REGISTER FOR A CONSULTATION WITH A PSYCHIATRIST!

We are a psychotherapy and psychiatric clinic staffed by competent and sensitive specialists (psychologists, psychotherapists, and psychiatrists) who provide consistent, confidential psychological assistance.

During a consultation with a psychiatrist, the patient's mental difficulties are listened to, the circumstances of their occurrence, course, duration and a diagnosis is made. During the consultation, the causes of mental health disorders are analyzed together with the patient, taking into account the patient's current situation, heredity, physical and emotional health and the characteristics of personality formation. Then the most appropriate treatment plan is drawn up, usually including psychotherapeutic and/or pharmacological treatment.

The first consultation with a psychiatrist lasts 1 hour, and the second one lasts 30 minutes.

Psychiatrist in Vilnius – Could be a psychotherapy clinic

How does a meeting with a psychiatrist go?

Individual consultation with a medical doctor-psychiatrist, in which the mental state is assessed, the most appropriate treatment plan is drawn up, which includes psychotherapeutic and/or pharmacological treatment. For many people, meeting with a psychiatrist is still a challenge. Therefore, it is important to remember that visiting a psychiatrist in Vilnius or online throughout Lithuania is the same as visiting any other doctor. Heart problems are treated by a cardiologist, hypothyroidism by an endocrinologist, and depression, sexual problems or eating disorders by a psychiatrist.

A psychiatrist is a medical doctor who specializes in psychiatry, a branch of medicine that focuses on the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of mental, behavioral, and emotional disorders.

What is the difference between a psychologist and a psychiatrist?

Psychologist – a specialist who has completed a master's degree in medical, clinical or health psychology and is engaged in psychological treatment and consultation. Both psychiatrists and psychologists can continue their studies and obtain a qualification as a psychotherapist, which means that the specialist can then engage in psychotherapy. A psychiatrist is a medical doctor who prescribes medication to a patient, uses a combination of talk therapy and other treatments to treat people with mental health disorders. All specialists, both psychiatrists and psychologists and psychotherapists, are united by a common goal – to help the client heal and feel stronger, solving the problem of concern when this is feasible, or learning to live with it when it is impossible to solve it.
